The software downloads with portable part of it names as above. Note Videhelp did not mention that it is Portable and made no assumption as such. It isn't and needs to be install to Program Files or where you like it to be placed. But with use is also not Portable (use of the registry for install, uninstall, software and other entries).
@developer You think a user is going to login to your forum site to say the software doesn't work as it should. In practice this never happens and so development becomes slow to change because of that. This post below is copied exact from your forum site as it says all that is needed to be said for the problem which needs to be fixed. Problem is that post was posted in 2012 says a lot for progress of what users need by posting to your forum. Again people don't for a reason this is shown again to be a pointer as to why.

Modify Tmp folder for downloads
Hi again !
I often download several videos at the same time, but my /tmp partition has a small size.
As temporary downloads are downloaded in /tmp , sometimes the /tmp partition is full and downloads corrupted.
Would it be possible to tweak the folder used for temporary downloads ?
Plus, maybe it is an improvement in the sense that if temporary and the final destination folder are located on different disks, the file will have to be moved which can take some time, while if the temporary folder and the final destination folder are on the same disk, the move will be super fast !

Also goes without saying this software would be easily to make Portable. Also likely get more users using it when it is Portable.
Can confirm it did download a clip from youtube and did so with option for original file or choose one. And did so with having same video resolutions as Youtube has for the Video. Original is always best and this software supports that. But it could not work with TV broadcasters Video sites that youtube-dl supports it does say 'ClipGrab is a free downloader and converter for YouTube and thousands of other sites.' The videos are there available but software reports internet connection or not available. To check after error I get another software to grab it and it downloads without issue.
Add the changes made to software between releases. A Change log makes the difference of knowing or not knowing what has changed and is helpful. Also sign of bad development not logging changes and letting others know of them.
Unrated as such only testing and reporting.
